"MaxSamizer" has low hours on professional rebuilds, a new Northern Lights Generator with a clean bottom and two new compressors supporting her HVAC systems. The upgraded 1271 TI?s have high compression pistons, Walker Air Separators and produce 800(+) hp per side. Cruise is 20 knots at 1850 rpm resulting in surprisingly economical fuel burn. Custom climate controlled hard top provides dry and comfortable wheelhouse with dated but functional electronics. Recent addition of new Autopilot.
MOTIVATED SELLER!!!
If you are searching for a top-quality, comfortable, and seaworthy watercraft that will last, the brand Hatteras is the best place to begin. Their designs produce a more comfortable, safer, and drier ride than other yachts of similar size.
The hulls and sides of Hatteras watercraft are made with resin-infused solid fiberglass with no "fillings" to lessen the overall weight. Hatteras hulls feature a downward angle chine with hull side "step-outs" to help reduce spray while increasing the beam above the waterline for more cabin space. Hatteras Yachts will withstand more significant impact with less damage than others experience. Effectively absorbing a collision with a hidden log or other objects at sea can be a life-saving feature.
With 15'10" beam this is a big 53 footer and the layout takes maximum advantage of that space. Most people love the galley down layout with the dinette opposite which is great for informal meals. And the galley is big enough, and well enough equipped with a full sized Moderm Maid range top, oven and dishwasher for the serious chef, while still having adequate counter space as well as plenty of storage space.
The owner's stateroom is adequate but the guest stateroom is cramped and many prefer to use the forward crew or guest stateroom instead, despite the upper and lower berths. Heads and shower size is more than adequate.
